Rundgang Kunsthochschule Kassel 11-15 Juli 2012

La Rundgang (exposición y eventos de final de curso) de la Universidad de Arte de Kassel tuvo lugar entre el 11 y el 15 de Julio, para ello estuvimos un mes preparando la clase de Ilustración y dejándolo todo listo y organizado (nuestra clase también con bar y sala de lectura maravillosa).

The Rundgang (final exhibition and events) from the Art University of Kassel, was between the 11th and the 15th of July, before that it took more or less a month to get everything ready and organized (our class with a bar and a lecture wonderful place)

En nuestra querida clase de Ilustración pude exponer dos originales que pertenecen a dos de mis cuadernos, uno del proyecto de Ilustraciones de textos del escritor Daniil Charms, el otro del proyecto True Stories con Hendrik Dorgathen. En la sala de lectura también estaban mi libro de POP-UP "tengo entre las manos un cuento", el pequeño libro "un abrazo rojo" y el número uno de nuestro fanzine "Sinsentido".

In our lovely Illustration class I was able to exhibit two originals from two of my sketchbooks, one from the project: Illustrations from  Daniil Charms texts, the other from the project True Stories from Hendrik Dorgathen. In our lecture place I had also my POP-UP book "I have a book in between my hands", the little book "a red hug" and the first issue from our fanzine "Sinsentido".

Esa semana de no parar, también tuve en casa Revolución española, vinieron a visitarme mis queridas amigas Irene Muñoz, Celia Millán, Bea Luengo y más tarde Clara Gómez. Tengo que agradecerles las fotos, el apoyo, los dibujos que hicieron para decorar mi piso y todo lo que me reí con ellas. Una gran semana.

This non-stop week I also had in my flat Spanish Revolution, my dear friends came to visit me Irene Muñoz, Celia Millán, Bea Luengo and later, Clara Gómez. I have to thank them the photos they made, the support, the drawings they made to decorate my flat and all the good times we had together. A great week.

La tienda de la Rundgang también estuvo muy activa durante la semana y estoy orgullosa de decir que se vendieron todas mis bolsas, camisetas, conejillos de peluche, varios fanzines y casi todas las postales.

The Rundgang shop was also really active during this week and I am proud to say that I sold all the bags, t-shirts, bunnies, some of the fanzines and almost all of the postcards.

Conejos - Bunnies

Mi abuela se va a sentir requete-orgullosa de todo el progreso que he hecho en el arte del coser.


My grandma it´s going to be very proud of all I have improved sewing.

El verano pasado tras oír sobre los conejos y muñecas Tilda, me animé a diseñar uno a partir de una camiseta vieja. Ahora preparo estos cuatro amantes del dormir achuchados para la Rundgang- shop de la Kunsthochschule de Kassel (de la que ahora soy estudiante). 

Last summer, after hearing from Tilda bunnies and dolls, and I designed one myself from an old t-shirt. Now, after a year I am preparing this four hugged-sleeping lovers for the Rundgang-shop in the Kunsthochschule Kassel (from which I am now a regular student).

Todos hechos a mano, y con mucho cuidado.

Un buen día me dije a mi misma: vamos a hacer un fanzine.
Y aquí está.

Tras leer noticias, ver acciones y oír conversaciones que hacen que uno se pregunte el sentido de la vida, pensé que SINSENTIDO era un gran nombre para el proyecto, un buen enfoque de la idea, y con raíces dadaístas gritar en colaboración con toda forma de expresión que se ofreciese. Y se ofrecieron varios para un primer número que hablase sobre mi querida España que tanto duele a veces,

After reading some news, watching some actions and hearing some conversations that make one ask himself about the sense of life, I thought that SINSENTIDO (senseless) was a great name for the project, a good point of view for the idea, and with dadaist roots, shouting in collaboration with all kind of expression that would offered. And some offered themselves for the first number of the issue which somehow talks about my dear Spain which sometimes hurt so much,

There are now available 10 printed fanzines, 20 color pages, which will be sold for 5 euros each one (this money just will be for the printing and layout costs). Hand sewn, and with lots of love.

 

Un fanzine que se puede leer en la cama, en la esquina, en el sitio preferido por todos para leer, o quitándose los zapatos al entrar en casa, bebiendo café por las mañanas, emparejando los calcetines imposibles, conservándolo en el frigorífico, regando las plantas o dejarlo junto a los abrigos para no leerlo después sentado en el autobús o en el tren.

A fanzine to read in bed, or maybe in the corner, in the favorite place to read from everybody, or taking off the shoes when you are finally home, drinking coffee in the morning, pairing up the impossible socks, conserving it fresh in the fridge, also watering the plants, or leaving it with the jackets to read it when you are later at the bus or the train.
